Question Compiling programs from source rpms


Hi,
I recently downloaded gaim in src.rpm format. I hav no idea on how to extract and compile/install it. Need help.

rpmbuild --rebuild packagename.src.rpm

this will create a binary rpm in /usr/src/RPM/RPMS/i586 or somewhere like that

then just go there and install the rpm however you usually do
