Command in background


Hi all,

How i can run this command in background of Redhat system. so always this comond will be run.

Code:
asterisk -r -x 'show channels' > /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin/active.log

You can try just putting a & after it when you run it, and that should background the process. That doesn't always seem to work though. What are you wanting to do with the command? Do you want it to just run once, run when you tell it to, run over and over, run continuiously from the start of the system...?

Hello Oxagast,

i want to run it continuisly from the start of the system.

This the command of asterisk which will stores all active calls to the active.log file, and we lot of customer they are making calls from asterisk so i want to run it always.
