Question colinux access to ext3 partition (opensuse root partition)

I would like to access data and programs running on Opensuse linux from Colinux.
Using Explorer2fs, the partition shows up as \Device\Harddisk1\Partition4.
Is it possible to access (at least read-only) files that are present directly from some device using Colinux? How would this be configured (I am using the Bfin w/Colinux installer).
Is some device/driver needed for Colinux or Linux itself?
thanks
Bill
