Change CPU frequency in Linux


I have another PC and I want to install Linux on it but I don't know if Linux can change the CPU frequency so I'm asking for guidance.Can you change the CPU frequency in Linux Ubuntu?

The simple answe is yes, you can control the CPU frequency. What is possible depends on hardware and installed software.

I know its not ubuntu, however, you can search for a ubuntu answer if you need it.

In general it is automatically made for you, you don't need to take care of it (manually). But obviously you can do that if you wish.
