cant open whimit pictures

Hi guys

How come when i go to whimit.com and look at peoples profiles i click on a picture that they posted but it doesnt enlarge like its supposed to. In windows it works fine but in fedora using mozilla it does not work for some reason. Keeps telling me javascript:void(0) whatever that means. I know i have flash installed but i think its something else has to do with picture enlargments. Do i have to install some extra ad-on to mozilla?

Thanks in advance

It's probably a popup if it says "javascript:void(0)". You can probably allow popups (and javascript) for that server and it should work.

javascript:void(0) is usually used as the URL to a hypertext link when the author wants to do something "onclick" other than linking to a new page. This is often used for a popup (which is why I mentioned that), but can be used for just about any javascript function.

My new guesses are 1) You have javascript disabled, 2) the script is broken, or 3) the script was written with IE in mind (non-standard code).

Checking out the site now, I'm getting errors about undefined functions, so chances are it's either 2 or 3, or both. Sorry, but this is one of the things we have to deal with when we choose to use standards-compliant tools like Mozilla. Opera might allow you to use the broken code.
