Cant lunch game, plz help.

Hi, im using gentoo and i installed a game "dopewars" from source eg didnt use emege, heres my problem i cant figure out how to launch the game, for most my programs i jsut type firefox or etc in terminal and away it goes, i havent used my gentoo box for lyk 5 mouths so commands arnt really freash in my mind thnaks heaps.

PS it installed no errors etc.

open a terminal and type locate dopewars (what the hell is dopewars!!) you should look for something inside of /usr/bin or maybe /usr/local/bin usually the executable will be in ../bin but if it isnt launching, then it is somewhere else. so look for a file called dopewars and if you find it enter the path to it. then if that works just make a symlink to it from /usr/bin. then you can launch it from just typing dopewars.

FIgured it out i have to be root to run it coze i compiled it as root Doh.

) and run it as a user, less hassle that way.

Is that the turn-based, text driven statistics game? Haven't seen that in a few years
