cant get my logitec mouse to work :(


could someone help me out here? i just bought a new logitec mouse and cant get it to work. and i cant get my old one to work eitehr now

PLZ help it is verry annoying having a mouse that wont work and i cant go into control center because it wont let me highlight hardware

did your old mouse work before? Try plugging in your old mouse and restarting, then go into mandrake 9.1 control center and then select the new mouse you want to use and then plug in the new mouse and restart. Is the logitech USB?

You can navigate without a mouse. After your session starts, hit the Windows key on the keyboard, use the up/down cursors to get to Terminals - Xterm, then su to root, and type in mousedrake . You can choose your mouse here, use the tab button to highlight OK, and close the terminal with alt-F4. Then logout, press alt-E to restart the X-server, and login again. If the mouse setting you chose doesn't work, try another....

ok i got it. thx for all your help.....but i just reinstalled. didnt have much on the computer anyway and i messed up X tring to fix it lol yeah...im dumb
