Cant boot Ubuntu

I have 2 linux distros on my computer, openSuse, and Ubuntu. My grub conf file is in the openSuse partition. I cant run the Ubuntu OS, i only can in recovery mode, but if i look at the conf file, here is what it shows for them.

title Ubuntu, Kernel 2.6.20-15-generic
root (hd0,3)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.20-15-generic root=UUID=bunch of numbers and letters ro quite splash
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.20-15-generic
quite

title Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.20-15-generic (recovery mode)
root (hd0,3)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.20-15-generic root=UUID=bunch of numbers and letters ro single
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.20-15-generic

When i try to boot in Ubuntu i get an error that says file not found, but it works in recovery mode. I cant really figure out what file is missing. Here is what is shown.

Booting 'Ubuntu, Kernel 2.6.20-15-generic'

root (hd0,3)
filesystem type is exf2fs, partition type 0x83
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.20-15-generic root=UUID=e4d748c1-23bf-42d8-9616-7bffee45cc7b ro quite splash

initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.20-15-generic

Error 15: File not found

Any thoughts?

What I generally do is open up the /boot/grub/menu.lst file in Ubuntu and copy and paste everything from that. Save, reboot.
Of course in the event that there is an error in there then you're stuffed.

Yeah that's what i did before, and now i get this message. It has been a while, but i think the menu.lst file in openSuse didnt have Ubuntu, that's why i copied it.
