Cannot login

Hi,

I cannot log with a certain user. I've got the message "Could not read network connection /home/userx/.DCOPserver_hostnamex__0 check dcopserver is running".

It's a network user. I can log with this user on CentOS 4.4 with another computer but it does not work on Redhat 9.

I tried empty the /tmp on my redhat 9. I deleted .kde, .xinitrc, .ICEauthority without success. I checked the permission and all sound good and I can log on another distribution.

So I need help to fix that

here my .xsession-errors file :

Well I'm no expert, but because of the deleted .kde, that user is probably limited to terminal now. You can create a new user and as root transfer all files from the original users /home folder to new user /home. Probably best not to transfer hidden files that start with a (.)

As I mentioned, I'm no expert with network accounts, just a suggestion that hopefully someone can elaborate on.

The .kde was regenerated when I tried to login on other computer. I'm not an expert too, but I do not want to corrupt completely the user, because he is very usefull.

That's about all I can suggest.
