Can anyone play yahoo news video? Native browser wont load, but wine does

I have FedoraCore4 x86_64 installed.
I have 32 bit versions of Firefox, Mozilla, xine, gxine, and mplayer working well on most websites (cnn videos, aol music, Yahoo music with PkLaunch). However when I go to http://news.yahoo.com/video , and click on any of the video links, the page never loads.
I see a mesage telling me to "wait while loading".

Now I also have Wine-20050725 (newer ones dont work for me), and the windows version of firefox with MediaPlayerConnectivity installed. When I go to the same page I'm able to load the page and get media player to work with native players (gxine, mplayer).

Does anyone have this problem using a linux 32 bit system. That is does the page load? Any ideas as to why the page doesnt load under native lunux. The browser under wine is very buggy and slow even though I have a top of the line chip and lots of memory. Also a lot of software just to run one browser.

i get past the "wait while loading" clock, but then there's no video, the section on the left just stays blank:

i tried in firefox, epiphany, and opera (32-bit system, btw), all with the same results. lazy/dumb programmers probably made it just for windoze. on the upside, i didn't really see any videos there that looked worth watching.

thank you for your promt response.
well, just thinking... the webpage loads for others under 32bit systems, then there must be something related to the fact that I'm running 64 system.

Why this site? well because I'm paying for service from sbc_yahoo and their video stuff is very similar.

If anyone out there has this working with FC4 x86_64. Let me know.

the video shows up in that left half of the screen? that's weird, i have mplayer plugin and it works fine for most other stuff. i've never had it not work, at least. i wonder if the mediaplayer connectivity plugin might be conflicting somehow?
