Can't login to banking webpage

Hi all... I'm using SuSE 7.3. I'm also using Windowmaker.... (Windowmaker is pretty darn cool)...

Anyway... I'm using Konqueror as a web browser. I can't seem to login to my financial institutions website. It just kicks me back to the login screen. Konqueror has a tools menu where you can set the "Browser Identification" to something other than Konqueror. I set it to IE 5.5 on Win 2k and I still could not login....

Thanks for any help...

Are you refusing pop-ups??

If I turn them off (opera - dutch banker), no login possible. Turning it on solves the problem.

Just my 2 cents worth.

I don't have Konqueror, this is what I found with google:

Settings, Configure Konqueror, Konqueror Browser, JavaScript, at the
bottom of the dialog click on "Deny".

If emulating or making the server your browsing to think your using IE, it still may not work if they specifically coded their pages to only work with IE. You can pretend your IE but you still have to remember your not IE when browsing pages like these.

You should contact your bank and let them know that they should code for cross browsing capabilities as not everyone uses IE, maybe pointing out their security holes, so on.
