Can't Connect to Postgres with PHP...

I just installed Fedora FC4, and I got apache, postgres and php up and running, but I can not establish a connection to the postgres database via php...
I opened port 5432...
I can log in with "psql -h server_name -U login_name db_name" just fine...
I just can not do anything with pg_connect()...

Anybody got any suggestions....

probably you have to add the postgres driver mod to your php extensions? or simply edit php.ini to work with it.
