I would suggest updating your system and then reinstall grub2 from the repositories and cross your fingers(lol)

A vanilla script would be the auto-generated one when you run:

Code:
grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
This can be listed as grub2 on some systems so adjust the command and paths accordingly.

The boot repair disc that you create after downloading the ISO works on any computer whether ou have windows or unbuntu or any other distro etc.

here is come links on repairing windows efi boot problems maybe they will help, make a backup copy of the efi/fedora just in case it deletes it so it can be copied back. http://www.fixedbyvonnie.com/2013/12.../#.UwljRGdVEU0 http://superuser.com/questions/46076...efi-bootloader
this is a efi boot loader that will help locate other boot loaders install on the system just in case the windows bootloader is still there and not found. http://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/getting.html

Hey Colorpurple
Sorry for not updating here. My laptop broke the outer part (where it opens its lid), although the screen is okay, so I left it at Samsung's tech support. So I couldn't try anything after my last post.

Thanks for asking!

Found the answer here http://superuser.com/questions/46076...efi-bootloader. Played around with it on a vmware efi with windows and fedora installed. I removed the boot file that was missing and the only command I had to run was the bcdboot command to fix after mounting the efi partition. I notice that the link noted not to use the recovery mode, but a recovery disk. I don't know how valid that is because I was using a windows 7 install iso for the vmware.
