I'm trying to install Caine 4.0 onto my flash drive for booting in a live environment.
I have downloaded Caine 4.0 from here:
http://www.caine-live.net/page5/page5.html I have checked the MD5sum of my downloaded .iso and it matches the one on the website. So my download should be good. I used UNetbootin to install the .iso onto a formatted flash drive (4GB) and it installed successfully.
The problem comes when I try to boot to the flash drive. I get the UNetbootin bootloader menu but after that it just sits there. Doesn't boot. I have tried booting to the default Live, the nomodeset, and the debug options all with the same result. The flash drive is brand new.
Unfortunately, I don't have any blank DVDs that I can burn the .iso to, to make sure it will boot from there.
Any suggestions?
