C Header files (VMWare Install)

I was installing Vmware Workstation and I got a message about installing GCC, which I did off of Fedora Core 1 CD 2. However I got this error next...

What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running Kernel?

Install the kernel-headers package from one of the Fedora CDs.

I'm having the same prob...

I don't think this is a standard error... but rather some other problem...

I can cfg a module for 2.6.4 no problem, but if I reboot into 2.6.5 then it does the above. It asks for the path to my headers, and no matter what it doesn't find them...
