Booting up without X

Hi I have just installed PCLinuxOS on an old server of mine and I want it to start without X starting. Also without a mouse or a keyboard attached. Is that possible?? and if so, how do I go about it please?

thanks in advance

If you do not want X to start, you need to edit /etc/inittab Find the line that says:

id:5:initdefault:

and change it to

id:3:initdefault:

(You will need to be root to do this). When you reboot, X will not start.

If you do not need or want a mouse or keyboard, just unplug them.
