Best VNC Client to use OS X Remotely

Hi all,

I'm doing work on an OS X machine, and would like to have the option of working remotely. I've set up the default VNC OS X option to run my window remotely from another Mac at work, but would like to be able to work from home. What software would you recommend for this purpose that's the easiest to get the remote desktop experience another Mac would have?

I will be doing this on an openSUSE 13.2 machine, although I have access to a LinuxMint installation if significantly better tools are available for it.

Thanks for any ideas.

RealVNC seems to be cross-platform; it does require purchase.

As for a Linux VNC application, Klaatu recommends X11VNC, but the only application I've used personally is TightVNC, and I've used it only for a Linux-Linux connection. I have no idea whether either of them will work with Apple stuff.

I saw some of those, but now have more options to look into to see if they'll help me in this situation. Thanks!
