Aurora


Is aurora a boot loader like lilo or maybe some type of fancy gui for it?

at any rate, i decided to give it a whirl ad it basically locked up x... anyone else have any problems with it like this?

I thought Aurora was a graphical display thing to show what's going on at boot time. I don't think it's a boot loader, and I'm pretty sure it's not an X app. I think Mandy uses it by default to hide all the text that zooms across the screen at boot from newbs.

oh well maybe that explains a lot... im all for nice looking things as long as they dont take up a ton of resources or screw other things up... i eneded up having to boot in failsafe mode and then fix it and turn aurora off...
