Accessing server remotely

Hi,

I've got my Linux server running sweet as a NAT/Router/firewall using iptables. I have ripped the mouse/keyboard/monitor off this box and shoved it under the table. I would like to access this box from my workstation (not over the 'net).

How do I do this? Is it possible to have full access to the Gnome graphical desktop? How do I get console access to it?

I would like something similar to terminal services under windows, or pcAnywhere. Alternatively, if this is not possible then a console would have to do.

Thanks,
Keymoo

use VNC - it's like pcanywere, but simpler and free. look it up on http://rpmfind.net/ or, if you have rh7.2, it's on the CD's.

telnet or ssh are other ways of connecting remotely (console only)

I forgot about VNC! Thanks - I'll try it.
