I have ABIT KT7A motherboard on my computer. I had installed RED HAT linux 7.2, but I get lot of troubles with it.
I want to know if this motherboard is compatible with RED HAT 7.2.
When I start the X server, its bugs sometimes.
I suppose that the X server have some relation with my processor frequency. Does it mean that I have to fix one value for my processor?
When you say your X server "bugs sometimes" your not telling us what the problem is, try and be a bit more specific, does it fail to start or start and then crash, if it starts and crashes is it random or when you open an app? Hava a look at /var/log/XFree96.0.log for any error messages and post them here ( not the whole log, just the errors).
Also, did you put 'noathlon' in the append section of your lilo.conf file? I've had lots of problems with RH7.2 on this board with the Athlon processors.
