A student that needs help!!!


Can anyone please inform me on how to setup ssh to not allow remote root logins??? Any kind of help would be great. thanks.

in your /etc/ssh/sshd_config file set the option:

Thanks that helped me out. Now can i get help, I need to setup my system so that if i create a file called nologin in the /etc directory, commonuser logins are disabled???

If your a student, doing your own work helps you learn I would think.. reread our rules and look closely of what LinuxQuestions.org says about doing others homework/classwork..

Yeah well i'm sorry your an ass. I'm also sorry that i actually have a life don't make it to class all that often. Thank you to the person who helped me out i looked at everything in there and actually learned. And to you mr. trickykid go choke some more dick!

That's the best way to get your thread closed by a Moderator who is me in fact that doesn't appreciate you breaking our rules by letting things get personal by you making personal attacks upon me. Keep it up and you'll lose all privileges to this site.

Perhaps you should also attend class over having a life, that's the point of school. If you can't make it to class to learn, why waste your time in the first place.

DON'T DEPEND ON OTHERS TO DO YOUR WORK OR YOU WON'T LEARN ANYTHING!
