Question [U-Boot]bootargs get overwriten

Hi All,

My U-Boot has one of the bootargs set to root=/dev/mtdblock6 and when I do nboot from U-Boot the kernel boot and happy days. However after system is reset I get kernel panic becase root=/dev/mtdblock5 - why is this? What is changing root mount point? If I go to U-Boot after reset root mount point is correct root=/dev/mtdblock6. Can someone explain or refer to some reading please?

Thanks
