Hi all,

I have switch distros from suse to slack 10.2 I have have downloaded the Slackpak of wine 0.9 beta and can seem to get Wow to run under it. I can get into the game and enter my username and password then hit login.

This is where all hell breaks loose. The screen will start to flash like the refresh rate is to high (its set to 60) and just sits there and blinks.

I have tried to drop the Screen res down to 800x600 but it does freaks and just loads a blackscreen. I have the latest nvida drivers loaded.

Has anyone gotten .9 to work with wow?

Have you enabled OpenGL mode for WoW? Wine still isn't quite good at DX9.
Besides OpenGL is a superior API, you should use it anyways.

Well i got it to work I had to delete the reg files and have wine recreate them Now I have another question is there a fix for the "Mouse bug" i have read the stuff over at the gentoo forum but Not sure how to add the patch
