Any or all games from the Elder Scrolls series, especially: Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind (including expansions), and Oblivion.
Though my PC's spec couldn't handle Oblivion even on Xp...
I'm running Oblivion on Cedega and it runs beautifully. The only problem at this point is that Nvidia did something to their latest drivers that causes the 3D rendering to leave bad artifacts, but soon either the Cedega team or Nvidia will fix the problem.
almost all games that I got to run under Linux, runs smoother than Windows. The only game that isn't too smooth (towards middle and end) is Call of Duty 2.

Mine is an old Athlon Thunderbird (or is it Duron???) 900 MHz with 128 MB RAM and 32 MB video card...
So, you see, I need to do a LOT of upgrading if I want to run Oblivion on my PC... Or maybe I could convince my mother to swap her 2 GHz Celeron with mine...
EA aquires bioware Great games and some linux binaries on their website, anyone care to guess how long it'll take for those to disappear? maybe I'm just biased because I still haven't got over how badffdly they destroyed Ultima Online once they got ahold of it.

Agreed. EA should really stick to sports. Guess we won't see any good DnD games coming from Bioware anymore now.
Hi, I think I posted here a long time ago, but here I am again anyway. To answer the original petition, there's one game I'd love to see ported to linux: Thief: Deadly Shadows; to my like is the best game I've ever played, it's simply unique and it would help me getting rid of windows
WARCRAFT III, of course!!! one of the best games EVER!!!
warcraft II was the best of its times (i used to spend hours playing it...7 years ago... ), but warcraft III is really revolutionary - it's the best simbiose of RTS and RPG...
So do I.
hei hei.
ha ha
Do you know the two words?
i'd love to see some free internet games such as 9Dragons and Gunz Online ported, they are awesume games that i miss sorely since i moved from win, i would port them my self if i could gain access to their source code.
i think someone needs to get onto ijji and ask them to create a linux launcher for gunz atleast
ps. has anyone mannaged to get any games running in bochs, i've heard its an excellent emulator for win

Most Internet games use the Shockwave player. If there was a Shockwave plugin for Linux, it would make a lot of games available for Linux. In fact, if shockwave worked, my kids would have little reason to boot into Windows.

You can use shockwave in Linux with crossover office.
