The common mistake made by the software industry is the assumption that Linux users don't want pay for software.
The truth is: they don't want to spend a pile of money for a buggy, insecure and non-transparent piece of compiled
code, when they can get a better program for free. But I payed already for some useful programs expanding the
functionality of my llnux installation. And I would pay for good games as well. So what about HL2 for Linux???

We, the undersigned, are all loyal fans of our operating system and your game "Eve - The second genesis" We want to ask you to consider to make this game a universal game! By operating on the three major operating systems Wintel (as it does now) and also Macintosh OS X and Linux.
we, the undersigned, greatly appreciate your efforts and hope that this petition shows that there are enough players who operate Mac OS X and/or Linux operating computers.
Please approach this seriously, this is a real request!
Sincerely,
We are looking for some 5000+ who are willing to take alok at this and be kind and sign we are looking for our fello Mac and Linux userīs to combine and show CCP that we are out here!
Anyone know if World of Warcraft is going to work in Crossover or WINE? I am getting ready to instally Fedora core2, and wondering if I am going to be able to play the game I have already preorded. Would hate to have to play it in Windows, but if I have to I will. Just wondering if anyone knows anything I dont. Thanks.
"According to Half-Life Fallout, Transgaming Technologies has announced that they will be releasing version 4.2 of Cedega, their Wine based software allowing some DirectX games to be played under Linux. The new version will be released Dec 7th with official support included for Valve Software's Half-Life 2 and Steam, Valve's online software store and distribution system, and a required component of Half-Life 2."
Distribution: Libranet 2.8.1 and Mandrake 10.1, both with kernel 2.6.10

Wizardry 8
Return to Zork
Zork Nemesis
Zork Grand Inquisitor
Interestingly... I was going to add the first two "Simon the Sorcerer" games, but then thought hey, you can play those with ScummVM (same with the first two "Broken Sword" games). SC3K was released by the lamented Loki, and isn't someone working on an OSS Fallout 1 and/or 2 clone? "Soldier of Fortune" has a Linux binary... somewhere. NeverWinter Nights has a native Linux version. I'm surprised at just how many games I have are playable under Linux (but then, perhaps it's not so surprising - I brought the first two "Broken Sword" and "Simon the Sorcerer" games so I could play them with ScummVM, and I knew there were Linux versions of SoF, SC3K and NWN).
