Problems with Wine

Ok, I have a LAN version of Counter Strike 1.6, it's basically Counter Strike without Steam, that's all. I downloaded Wine from their website for Mandrake. Everytime I open my cd and right click the .exe to open with wine, nothing happens. Even if I double click it, nothing happens. Does anyone know why nothing happens?
