open source equivalents

so I've been looking on wikipedia and around the internet, and haven't found much, and it's always nice to get people's personal opinions, so I was wondering, what are some good open source alternatives that are similar to these proprietary games:

1. Age of Empires II (some kind of RTS)
2. Rogue Squadron (3d flying/fighter game, preferably scifi)\
3. Super Smash Brothers

thanks!

First, note that you can likely play those games through wine.

1)
Globulation 2
Glest
Bos Wars
Battle for Wesnoth (turn-based)
FreeCol (turn-based)
more:

2)
Privateer Remake
Vega Strike
Flight Gear Flight Sim (not sci-fi)

3)
Just use:

get the rom somewhere and play it.
