Hey Windowsburner... I didnt go thru every post in this thread, but I hope ur having some success with ur game-plan..... I thought bout a similar thing a while back, but abandoned it because I don't have much exposure in programming, and am pretty much a noob, and couldnt find anybody else ot help me out.... NOW, since u guys seem to be going at it pretty well, I was hoping that I could be 'involved' in this, without contibuting too much... I couldnt contribute much, from a technical point of view, but story and ideas, I could help... and I just need LOADS of code from all the ppl here, so that i can look thru, and learn coding better....

Whoever has that pong code, (sorry, forgot the name), could u pls mail me a copy too... karthikrr84 [at] yahoo [dot] com ..... thanks.....

I'm sorry but things are not going well. I'm gonna have to temporarily exclude some people.
I'm very sorry but I have to many people on the project for the moment
I appreciate all the people wanting to help though.

Somethings came up and I haven't had any time to work on the proj.
But I'll try to get moving

Anyway,

Adios

I've got some dissapointing news.....
I have a lot to do at home and in the last two weeks I got only two hours to work on the project.I really want to work on the project but things are not working out so...

a.) The project release date will have to moved from January 1, 2004 to August 1 ,2004

b.) I'll hand the project over to someone else and then the project will keep going but I won't be in it.

Sorry.... I dont want it that way either but I'm afraid thats how its gonna be... I think it would be best if we chose option b.

Tell me what you think

Oki. I've been coding many things these days and i am quite involved and ethusiastic in the project. I hope this continues. I also think that August 2004 is maby too far. If I keep coding and learning as fast as i'm doing now, and everybody help, it might me ready for febrary march or april...

This project smells good, and it'd be a pitty to be stopped. HAPPY CODING!!

well,
i'me the new leader until josh can rejoin this.
Please, send any mails to anarchy_jodermocosoft@msn.com.

I'me a bit stressed this week with lots of exams, but all the exams will be finished on thursday... Anyway, I think that i'll drop a few lines this weekend. I'll try to do the non-fps-depending engine (i've got all the details in my mind). I'll also put in order some things this weekend, but i can't primise much, because, as i said, i have to study

cya!

I'm quite interested.
Infact I would love to help!
I don't do anything with my time but learn new oporgramming languages..

I'm not a huge programmer, but I'm familiar with every language except Fortran.

Yeah please do contact me:
ICQ: 95130041
MSN: chu_ball@hotmail.com

Heck, I'm sure we could get an IRC Channel for this.
It would be great

I have just added u to my MSN. I'll send u the sources and all the details about the game later, so u can see how to help. I recomend u to learn how to use the SDL libraries, cuz it's the ones we'r using
