I have a bit of a problem here. I have installed Myth2 on a comp running Red Hat 9.0 upgraded to the latest as of 1-15-04. I chose the large install and it seemed to go fine. However, when I try to run it I get a message stating:
Incorrectly built binary which accesses errno or h_errno directly. Needs to be fixed.
myth2: error while loading shared libraries: libglide2x.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I'm sure it is something simple, but then again, so am I.

Looks like your missing the glide2 driver part of mesa. check your distro for glide2. its probably called mesag3-glide2 or similar.

OK, here's the deal....

to solve the problem run loki_uninstall it will tell you it cant remove the dir ( thats ok ) then reinstall (full install) but when it asks you if you want to use the glide (3Dfx) drivers say no then just let it do its work.....

Asumming that you installed installed it correctly ( mine is in /usr/local/games/myth2 ) what your going to need to do is make sure your cd is mounted, open a shell and under root run loki_update (make sure your connected to the net) and this will fix the problem.

If you want to know why your getting that error its because the glide in RH9 is libglide3. you cannot DL the libglide.so.2 because it is no longer used in RH9 and if you do try to install it it will not let you because it conflicts with the new glide.
