the games runs. You CAN connect to the gameserver, BUT you have no fonts. I didn't found a way to make the fonts appears
When I run MU on SUSE 9.1 I have no fonts. But on gentoo there are fonts, but font is ugly and unreadable. It's the only problem with MU on linux. I can connect, I can do everything, but can't see item subscriptions.

I have the same font problem in HalfLife/HL2 but fonts are large and readable. Does anybody know how to fix fonts in games?

on windows when you first star Mu after install the fonts are also very ugly and unreadable. but in windows all you have to do is make the res higher
maybe this is the problem.

Also on the side for Anthrax

I have a hack for mu windows that runs. I don't support hacking and obtained it to send it to the MM. but as you probably know their mail service stuff is just an automated reply message based on keywords.
Can you tell me sumwhere to send it to that will actually do something about it?
and about 2 months ago my acc. was jacked and some of my items stolen. Is there somethig you can do about this? I don't really care but if there is let me know plz

Guild Wars does not require a monthly fee in order to play, making the title unique among high-profile MMORPGs

MUPh - the problem's GameGuard

To MUPh Players:

It's not MU that's not running but GameGuard. I emailed them and they said that they don't support Linux (and even suggested that I install Windows and run the game there :-(

I've used wine (0.0.2) and cedega (4.3)
On the console:
1. Go to the directory where you downloaded your installer
2. Type cedega MUPhilippines99z, after it finishes, run the patch cedega MUPhilippines99Z Patch
3. Go to the directory where you have installed MU
such as TransGaming_Drive/ProgramFiles/Mobius.ph/Mobius.ph Games/MU, type wine MU cedega won't connect to the server, don't ask me why. The game will d/l patches then restart the client. On restart, the client will connect then goes kaput!
Then finally a message appears saying "Either there is no gameguard installed or it is hacked".

I think private server will have a better chance of running MU but I haven't tested it yet.

Somebody suggested replacing your glib with nptl but i've gotta check that one.

Mu runs without fonts on wine version 20050524, but with cedega, Freetype=N it have "disconnected from server" error. I think it's because some network settings. With older versions of cedega MU was working.

Could not connect to remote server
You tried to access the address http://mu.baz.cz/, which is currently unavailable. ...
:-(

Another link is my question without useful answer. I tried to install a lot of specified .exe fonts and result is the same. Problem is not in font. Problem is antialiasing. It can be turned off in Cedega ( Freetype=N ), but I do not know how to do the same in wine.
