is there a framebuffer mame emulator?


I have a server system but I want to run games on it. MAME in particular. I have some applications that will run in the framebuffer, is there such a thing for MAME? or is it a lost cause pursuing this for a server type system?

Advancemame usually supports the most varied display types, so I would try that. I do remember that it supports framebuffer.

It says here that SDLmame and xmame can also work:
