internet explorer 6 for need for speed ?

Hello,

I try to install NFS 2 on my Fedora4. I do it with Wine 0.9.2. Setup is run OK, but after I give it my password, it wants ie6. For what reason and how to deal with that ? I tried to install ie6 from M$ site, but at setup stage it tells me that I don't have an internet connection.

The way you are going to have to attempt this, is go to google, and type in ie6setup.exe and download it from a third party site and then attempt the install with wine, cause microsoft is going to let a PC connecting to their site obtain any files with the OS detected is a flavor of linux.

Or go to MS and go to downloads, then try a search for IE6 you should be able to find a link to a download of it without any checking your computer junk. Make sure it is a fulldownload and not some msi downloader that will need to connect to the internet for more files.
