I succeeded in installing GB under wine, but when trying to play, the login box is completely black (although you can enter text). I managed to locate the login and password boxes, entered them and press OK, but it just hangs...I don't remember the exact error, as I tryed long ago, but i remember also that it didn't work either with cvs WineX.
The funny thing is that with cvs WineX i couldn't even launch the installer with some nasty access violation, but i could with wine....
Anyway, it doesn't work, so i think we will have to wait until GIS team will make a Linux port (something i really don't expect, but hope is the last thing you lose )

1st thing, ya u can get it through CVS still. Go to linux-gamers.net, and look for the how-to for cedega CVS. (should be front page) Its an easy way to get it.
2nd, I got just as far as anyone else. I used wine to install gunbound, useb both to start up gunbound, can update. But I get memory errors, as soon as I log in. O well, I guess whatever I learn from programming at my highschool, ima try to make my self a good wormlike game.

Thats amusing, you proclaim something is badly made, then claim you wish you knew how to make it....

Eitherway, im thinking of trying gunbound again on my gentoo box, but i can't find a story of ANYONE who's got it to work correctly, so im thinking im letting my self in for a long world of pain....

Anyone think :
