What seems strange to me is the message about rundll32.exe. Which version of wine are you using? Do other windows apps run?

I'm running GP 4.1.0 under a current wine without any major problems - no native dlls or other configuration needed. This is the full version though, I have never been able to get one of the demo versions to run, no idea why
