Getting sof 2 server to work the linux or wine version
ok i have sof2 mp test and the full game , i would rather run a dedicated server of the demo.
i have it installed on a nfs share and i execute it from there with wine
wine SoF2MP.exe +set sv_punkbuster 0 +set sv_pure 1 +set com_zoneMegs 16 +set com_hunkMegs 32 +set com_soundmegs 16 +set vm_game 0 +set dedicated 2 +set net_port 20110 +exec SOF2.cfg
eveything seems to run fine ... i get the console (sof2 console) down to where it says

but then i go and look for it on another box and its not posted to the internet ... its like the server dosent send info to the internet. i have tried it on my xp box and it works fine.
I do get some strange messages im using a router(with the correct port forewarded) and my ip is not the one that is says in the sof console

my ip is a 192.168 ip ? also i get this in the linux console
fixme:wininet:InternetGetConnectedState always returning LAN connection.
what did i do wrong because no matter what i do it wont show up in the online listing when i look at it through the sof game on my xp box ... I would like to use the linux sof2ded version but i dont think it lets you run the mp-test (demo) i can only get the sof2ded to work when i upload the base files from the full sof2 but that is another can of worms
