Question Games?

Hi. I just built a new computer and gave it a shot setting up windows. Nothing would work. It got to the point where I was copying dlls from my old coputer via floppy drive and even manually editing files and tons of crap and got nothing. So I gave linux a whirl and i'm in heavan. I'm just wondering: What's out there in terms of games? I have no idea. My old computer was so slow that i really couldn't play anything on it. So I don't even know what's out there - for any platform. All I know are my Xbox games. I love Halo and most other first person shooters and I'm downloading America's army as i type this. Anybody know any good FPS's for linux?

Specs:
AMD Athlon XP2600
GeForce4 MX440
512MB ram
RedHat9

Will America's army run ok on that?
I'd rather not download WINE. I don't know. Are there even linux only games like that? I'm really confused

krock923, a simple search could prolly answer your questions, but since the thread was made I'll do what I can.

I know, lots of links, but with them all you should be well informed of games on linux. There are still more sites and links for gaming on linux and also the wine wineX (cedega) stuff. I don't help emulation though only native games so if you want to emulate I am sure someone can point you in that direction.

Hope this helps.

Oh, btw, AA should run on that fine. The vid card may be a slight bottleneck but should be fine I would assume.
