Enemy Territory Woes

Distro: Suse 10.1, GNOME
CPU: Intel dual core 2.0 Ghz
RAM: 4 GB
Video Card: GeForce 7800 Go with updated drivers

I am trying to get ET to run on my laptop as it has on previous installations of this OS (Yes, it has worked before without any changes to hardware, just a reinstall) however whenever I run it with the "et" command it opens up in a windowed mode.

A snippet of the output I think might be the culpurit is:

Code:
PIXELFORMAT: color(32-bits) Z(24-bit) stencil(0-bits)
MODE: 8, 1280 x 1024 fullscreen hz:N/A
GAMMA: software w/ 0 overbright bits
CPU:
rendering primitives: multiple glArrayElement
texturemode: GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR
picmip: 0
texture bits: 32
multitexture: enabled
compiled vertex arrays: disabled
texenv add: disabled
compressed textures: disabled
anisotropy: 1.0
NV distance fog: disabled
Initializing Shaders
If anyone has the faintest clue as to what could possibly be wrong feel free to chip in!

i think that's your culprit. anisotropy filtering is not yet fully supported in linux.

No, that is not it because it ran perfectly on my last install. As it is now it runs, it just will not go fullscreen

shouldn't the mode be set to 24 or 16? you might want to try setting the hz to you horizontal refresh on the lcd.

good luck
