Doom 3 Demo problem


I get this when starting the demo.. But it just stayes here.

Have you installed ATIs drivers, or are you using the built-in "radeon" driver?

Built in ATM. I tried installing the ATi drivers, but had to make a custom kernel module for 3d Accel, but when I did, it said it couldn't load it into the kernel.. so things didn't turn out do so pretty.

i have documented my linux box setup and posted it online... check out the section for video... it might be of some help if you do

glxinfo | grep rednering and get no as a reply....

it was for a debian box, but ati setup should probably be the same.. you might have to adjust some of the paths manually inserted to be correct to your system....
