Display Problem - UT2004

I have a couple of small problems when trying the UT2004 demo on my Slackware 10.0 machine. In full screen mode, the display is shifted to the right. Also, in windowed mode, the display is fine, but the mouse comes off the window a lot and makes it very difficult to control the character (Not sure if I explained this one well). Hopefully some of you have had these problems and can help me out. This is my first try gaming with Linux and I'm enjoying it so far. I tried to do some searches for some answers, but couldn't come up with anything.

Thanks in advance.

Well, coworker just suggested I use the monitor controls to shift the full screen display. Guess, it shows I haven't gamed in awhile. Only the mouse problem left.
