I got a Cube RPM from http://rpmseek.com/rpm-pl/cube.html?...ube:PN:0:0:1:0

But look what happens when I type Cube into the Terminal:
[root@localhost ~]# cube

Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)
[root@localhost ~]#

It would seem to be a problem with the Sounds.

Are you using the PLD Linux distro? I think that RPM is for PLD (formerly Polish Linux Distribution), and if you're not using PLD, that may account for the problems you're experiencing. Try and find one for whichever distro you're using, and that may solve the problem.

That may be the problem. I will serarch for a RPM for fedora, though if any one here knows of one it would be a great help.

I got a RPM for Alt Linux http://rpmseek.com/rpm-pl/cube3d.htm...ube:PN:0:0:0:0, not my distro either but I find it interesting that it gave me the same problem:

Cube is good, hard but not as hard as Nexuiz.

I enjoyed Cube, so I got Sauerbraten installed. It runs levels based on old cube levels very well. But some of its new levels realy take up to much resources for my computer. Any one to make it take up less resources?
