CS: Source Dedicated Server

I have a slackware system that I have setup that I want to be able to make a CS: Source server. I downloaded the most recent HLDS and configured it. However... I'm not sure how to start it, or if I set it up for source correctly. Can anyone help? maybe I should just do a clean install.
