Cedega + Steam, doesn't update

Hello,

I'm running cedega 6 and when i install steam and run it for the first time it simply doesn't update. It keeps on 0%. When i press cancel i get the following error

Code:

Steam.exe (main exception): Unable to load library Steam.dll

What should i do?

I would install wine, and then just go into the directory where steam is, and use wine to apply the patch. I use Cedega for my WoW Gaming from time to time, but I allways use wine to install the patches, it's way more fast and more reliable then cedega when it comes to patching, atleast for WoW. If I were you, i'd try patching using wine.
