WineDbg terminated on pid 0x8

I've tried :
Another game
Another DVD drive
Another wine version (I'm using the one given by my Mandriva distrib)
To copy CDROM on HD and launch the setup from that point

Nothing works, please help me otherwise I'll have to keep Windows on my PC !!!

If Windows works best for you then use it.

So what's this mystery game you're trying to install? Sorry, my mind-reading hat broke this morning while I was answering a different question.

Mystery games are : max payne and half life (original one w/o steam) which are supposed to work. They work on my other (old) PC indeed.
