Amrerica's Army Help

Hello everyone, i have been trying to install Americas army forever now. I just learned how to use sh to install it but now i cant get it to start, i have uninstalled it several times and tried putting it in different directories. Cand anyone help??? it doesnt even bring up the americas army loading logo or anything. I am really stuck. I am running Mandriva 10.2 LE 2005 and i have a 1ghz computer with an NVIDIA g-force 2 32mb card 1GB or ram and a soundblaster sound card. It always used to run great when i was using windows now though linux wont even open it. I am guessing it is cause i did something wrong. All help is appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Login as root. chmod +x *.run. ./*.run

As for as your hardware, it is too .. umm.. it's crap. I don't think it will run. The GeForce 2 MX can barely hold it together in lesser games. You may want to give enemy territory a try. I think the GF2 MX might be able to handle that. No offense btw. It is what it is.

Yes, you don't know what you are executing or you are in the wrong directory- or both.
