[Slackware Current] Proton doesn't work and my Windows games don't launch

Hello there, Slackers!

I've recently made the switch from Arch to Slackware, but one thing is bothering me a lot: Proton is not functional on Slackware, even though I've installed all the dependencies of Wine and Steam. I even installed 32-bit libraries, it still didn't work. It still crashes Windows games after a quick flash of a black screen.

How could I fix this?

You could go back to Arch were it works fine.
Or you could post something from the error log for people to look at, and just maybe spot a problem.

I tried to provide Proton log files, but it just doesn't write it into the /tmp folder (where I specified the output).

Should I try writing the log file into my /home directory instead?

PROBLEM SOLVED: I just installed the entire multilib series of packages from alienbob (as the console log when running Steam told me to do). Now it works like a charm.
