Question what is the diff


bet the packages 3.3 , cvs and conglomeration

i want ot d/l the lfs packages
can anyone help me to decide which pac i need

i am anormal user on a i686 computer

"conglomeration" is the one directory that contains all the different versions used in different books. the "3.3" and "cvs" directories are the only ones you need to concern yourself about - it contains symlinks to the proper files in the conglomeration directory.

Now, whether you need to use the 3.3 or cvs directory depends on which book version you are using. Right now there's the stable lfs-3.3 version and the CVS (develoment - work in progress) version.

i think that i will download the 3.3 version


i hope i can do it soon so i begin my new step with lfs
