VirtualBox modules don't load on boot

I've searched high and low on google and am not finding anything of value.

I just want vboxdrv to load. It is installed I can modprobe it.

under

/etc/modules.d/virtualbox.conf
vboxdrv

Yet I have to manually modprobe it each time I reboot.

Any idea whats going on? I am using sysvinit.

It boots to sddm upon startup if that helps.

Nevermind fixed it:

Added vboxdrv to:
/etc/sysconfig/modules

Hey voncloft,

... bit of a shot in the dark here (since I've never experimented with LFS), but do you have a copy of the virtualbox.conf file in /usr/lib/modules.d/ as well (or similar directory if LFS does things differently) ?

Cheers,
