Unable to boot LFS... Help me

I finished my LFS 6.5 along with "package user" system. After completing the installation of grub and everything, i booted into the new system.

It shows the following errors...

/sysmount: only root can do that
grep: /proc/mounts: No such file or directory

Failure:
Unable to create devices without a SysFS filesystem

After you press enter, this system will be halted and powered off

looked at http://www.mail-archive.com/lfs-supp.../msg07660.html ?
Seems like /proc is not mounted. Put an entry in /etc/fstab like:
Quote:
none /proc proc defaults 0 0

Lightbulb I found the problem

The problem is that I did not have permission to mount sysfs. Coz, i used "package user" based package management given lfs hint. I dont know how to proceed with the same hint. So, i changed the permissions of everything to "chown -R root:root *" in every directory of root. Now its solved, but i lost package user based package management system. Now planning to use pkgtool or dpkg...
