In my last post regarding this, I rebuilt my kernel and exorcised the support for TIPC completely, but the bug still is present.
spinlock cpu recursion on CPU#1
Kernel version 3.13.7
Does anyone know what else could cause this to happen? It's been getting very frequent and I doubt my JFS file system will continue to walk away from a hard reset unscathed soon.

Any help would be appreciated.
Never seen it on mine, might be a hardware issue. I'm running on vmware.
Is the host gone, if not is it happening there as well?

Are you using a VM? I could upload my 3.14 config, it's not 100% preened, but it works for certain on VMWare Workstation 10, hosted on Windows 7 on Haswell architecture.
Another option is:
Code:
make clean && make mrproper
make x86_64_defconfig
or make i386_defconfig
and then...
make menuconfig
...to tweak.
