I wanted to know if you got an answer to your post. I'm also trying to figure out how to install plymouth on LFS-7.5 and but I can't find any help.

Hi Julien,
I could not find the solution to it. I tried to configure it myself but was unsuccessful. Although currently I have stopped working on lfs but if I get the answer I will let u know.
